Pleased to announce that the dates of my SupperClubs I am doing with CocoBananas for the Rio Olympics in August have been announced! I got the final draft of press release in my mailbox last week (which we’ve been working for months) and am so excited. CocoBananas/BungaBunga is one of my favourite restaurants in London so I can’t wait for this event. I’m going to be doing lots of Brazilian foods, including Açai Bowls from Amaçai, Feijoada, Avocado Ice Cream and lots more! Please buy tickets and come with friends if you want somewhere fun to celebrate the Olympic Games this summer!

In honour of the RIO 2016 OLYMPICS this August, Battersea’s hit pizzeria, bar and karaoke venue Bunga Bunga will transform into London’s ultimate Brazilian hub, featuring an exclusive Olympic-themed pop-up upstairs in South American-inspired beach shack Cocobananas. The pop-up will include a Caipirinha bar, a dedicated Olympic-themed cocktail menu, POPS frozen Bellinis, a Brazilian-inspired food menu and Samba dancers, making it London’s top destination to watch all the action of the Olympic games in August.

Cocobananas will host an official Olympics opening ceremony party on Friday, 5th August as well as a closing ceremony on Sunday, 21st August with a Brazilian-inspired Supper club hosted by talented Natalie Salmon, The Latina Cook.

In the spirit of embracing all things Brazilian, Bunga Bunga’s head chef, Alexis de Naray and talented Natalie Salmon, the Latina Cook, have created a tantalising menu including colourful and exuberant dishes that will transport guests all the way to exotic Brazil. Guests can look forward to tucking into a hearty, yet healthful menu fit for an Olympic champion.

Kicking off the dinner with traditional South American fare, guests will enjoy Brazilian pastels,  filled with ground meat, mozzarella, heart of palm and chicken; Coxinha, delicious and savoury crispy chicken balls; and grilled Chicken Heart skewers, marinated in fresh herbs.

Natalie is an expert in Brazilian cuisine and has conceived an array of main dishes that pay homage to South American cuisine including Brazil’s national dish, Feijoada, a sumptuous, hearty stew made with beans, beef and pork. Guests will also feast on a delicious and healthy Vegetarian Brazilian pizza and will be able to choose their own toppings that include sweet potato puree, goats cheese, cashew nut cheese and Brazilian nuts and kale. Natalie will also be serving a mouth-watering Fresh Fish Ceviche with exotic fruit for guests to enjoy. Guests will also enjoy kale & mango salad, polenta chips and incredible truffle casava chips on the side.

No Brazilian feast would be complete without dessert and guests can look forward to the most-loved Brazilian treat, Chocolate and Coconut Brigaderio, a creamy truffle delight and unique homemade Avocado Ice Cream Gondolas.

The Cocobananas Olympic pop-up will be decked out with the flags of Brazil, palm trees, banana leaves, beach balls, exotic flowers and colourful lounge chairs, making it the ultimate Brazilian Players Lounge. There will be a large medal count board displayed on the wall that will keep a running tab on how many golds, silvers and bronzes have been bagged by the Brazilians. Guests can jam out to karaoke in the L’Osservatorio and all of the servers and bar staff will be wearing Brazilian jerseys with pride during the course of the games and will fly the official flag of Brazil after each victory. All guests will receive blue, green and yellow confetti cannons to fire off in support of Team Brazil!

Hope you can make it!
